Tony DeLap, a pioneer of West Coast minimalism and Op Art, is the subject of a new documentary by director Dale Schierholt (Conversations with Robert Indiana; Will Barnet: Tracing the Soul of the Work). Schierholt takes us inside the studio of the renowned California painter and sculptor, offering viewers a personal studio visit with the artist who helped define California Art in the 60s and continues to produce challenging and engaging work well into his 80s. This is the first film in Schierholt’s new series of documentaries called California Masters. Both DeLap and Schierholt will be in attendance.

Funding is provided by Mitchell and Joan Markow and Homer and Nina Eaton.
