Cal EMA, FEMA Get Over 200 Applications for Federal, State Aid

In the wake of the severe winter storms, flooding, debris and mud flows that occurred between December 17, 2010 and January 4, 2011, 207 government agencies, special districts and private non-profit organizations from the 12 counties included in President Obama’s January 26, 2011, major disaster declaration and March 3, 2011 amended declaration have submitted Requests for Public Assistance (RPA), officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA) reported today.

So far, Orange County has 38 applications submitted for RPAs.
