Linoleum Block Printmaking with Annie Medina, Sawdust Art Festival Grounds, December 7

In this special holiday workshop, students will learn how to carve their own designs into linoleum and transfer using traditional printmaking techniques. All materials provided and students will each leave with a dozen hand printed cards and their linoleum block print to create many more holiday cards! Ages 10 to adult welcome.

About Annie Medina

Annie Medina is an artist, printmaker and writer from Orange, California. She has worked as a professional printmaker at Gemini G.E.L. in Los Angeles for 7 years. Annie initially received her B.F.A. in printmaking at The Rhode Island School of Design with a minor in creative writing. She also studied bookbinding, fine art and art history during her year abroad at R.I.S.D.’s European Honors Program in Rome, Italy. Currently she resides in Orange making art, teaching and enjoying life.
