Chain Making with Annette Doreng-Stearns, Sawdust Art Festival, October 31

Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

In the Chain Making class you will learn how to design, file, forge, how to create jump rings and assemble a chain with maximum movement. Students will leave with a handmade copper necklace, and if time permits, a matching pair of earrings.

About Annette Doreng-Stearns

Annette was trained as an architect at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in her homeland of Denmark. As an artist she has her hand in many different mediums. She paints Theater sets as well as paintings, is an art quilter, a jewelry maker and a sculptor. She also taught handwork at the Santa Fe Waldorf School to both students and adults.
