To say I am thee free -sassy debonair billionaire- with flair to scare the unaware to beware of bear “ISM” I sold my soul to ism’s of fascism cynicism and pessimism.
So now I am armed with a ‘nu-clear vision’ smashing fascism crushing cynicism and pulverizing pessimism to oblivion.
To never ever be -awful bratty rat- again in mine or anybody’s subliminal landscape conscious countryside or physical psyche as I untie the lies of fascism undoing the losing of pessimism.

Seagate Technology today updated its financial outlook for the December 2011 and March 2012 quarters.

The company continues to believe that, due to the industry impacts caused by the extensive flooding in Thailand, hard disk drive supply will be significantly constrained for several quarters. For the December 2011 quarter, the company believes the industry will ship between 110-120 million units.

The company believes the industry’s ability to manufacture and ship hard disks drives will gradually improve throughout calendar 2012. While this may alleviate some of the unit demand shortfall, it is expected that some companies will optimize unit shipments by manufacturing lower component count/lower capacity hard disk drives; thereby, only modestly offsetting the growing petabyte shortage. Because demand is estimated to significantly exceed supply during this time, pricing is expected to remain stable.

Financial Outlook

The company’s component and disk drive factories in Thailand have not been directly affected by the flood; however, the company’s ability to manufacture hard disk drives has been impacted due to external component supply constraints as first disclosed on October 12, 2011.

For the December 2011 quarter, the company now expects unit shipments of approximately 43 million units and revenue of approximately $2.8 billion. Gross margin as a percent of revenue is expected to be 150-300 basis points above the high-end of the company’s long-term, targeted gross margin range of 22-26%.

Together, Xradia’s 3D X-ray microscope families, the VersaXRM, which includes the MicroXCT systems, and the UltraXRM, furnish 3D magnification needed to study samples ranging from sub-millimeter to tens of millimeters with resolution down to 700 nanometers as well as samples up to a millimeter in size with resolution down to 50 nanometers. Bridging the “resolution gap” left by conventional destructive techniques proves pivotal in volumetric imaging crucial to studying porosity and microstructure in materials, life and geosciences.

“This technology provides researchers with a new 3D perspective on their samples without the need for destructive analysis. This extends research capabilities to 4D, or the allowance for time- or condition-dependent study. Additionally, ability to achieve high resolution even at large working distances combined with this non-destructive aspect also enables in situ studies of the same sample in a variety of conditions,” says Laureate Professor John Ralston, Director of ANFF-SA & Director, Ian Wark Research Institute, University of South Australia. “Along with Xradia’s advanced high resolution and high contrast imaging, the ability to combine the MicroXCT and UltraXRM to perform multi-length scale imaging enables researchers to achieve efficiencies in their research efforts, as they scout a large section of a sample at low resolution, and then zoom into a specific area for detailed imaging at nanometer levels of the sample’s structure and properties. This is a powerful combination of tools.”

THE FALL 5000 SUPER ADOPTION

Weekend Adoption Event Starts the Race to 5000 Adoptions in November

WHAT: The Los Angeles Animal Alliance presents an unprecedented adoption campaign spanning 5 counties with a goal of finding forever homes for 5000 shelter animals in the month of November. The campaign kicks off November 4-6 with a weekend Super Adoption at all participating shelters featuring discounted adoption fees and giveaways to adopters, personal matchmakers and professional behavior trainers. To honor our nation’s heroes, The Fall 5000 also launches the Pets to Patriots program, sponsored by The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, which offers free adoptions for veterans throughout November at participating shelters.

Move America Forward, the nation’s largest pro-troop grassroots organization, is preparing to host a star-studded live show that helps send care packages to American soldiers overseas. The event takes place at the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library, 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd, Yorba Linda, CA, on Thursday June 23rd, from 1:00-9:00 PM PST.

Hosts Melanie Morgan, Roger Hedgecock, Andrew Breitbart, and S.E. Cupp, will be joined by big-name guests like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Dr. Laura, Former President George H.W. Bush, Gary Sinise, Kelsey Grammar, John Ondrasik, Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski, Presidential Candidate Michele Bachmann, Dennis Miller, and many more.

Executive Producer Melanie Morgan said, “This event is significant and important in how it brings together so many popular actors, personalities, foreign policy experts, and retired military personnel for one event. The big names are exciting, but the cause we come together to support is incredibely important. With over 250,000 troops in combat deployment, we cannot forget their service and sacrifice.”

The 8-hour live Troopathon will be broadcast via internet, radio and TV, and will encourage viewers to sponsor care packages for the troops. Previous Troopathon events have raised close to three million dollars, enabling the group to send over 195 TONS of care packages overseas.

Troopathon IV: “Remember Their Sacrifice” will be broadcast live from the Nixon Presidential Library on Thursday, from 1-9PM PST.

Board of Equalization Member Senator George Runner today urged Californians to take time this Memorial Day weekend to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom.

Runner said, “As flags are flown throughout the country to honor the valor and courage of the brave men and women who gave their lives defending our county, let us remember that the liberties we enjoy today came at a great price.”

“In memory of our honored dead I invite Californians to take a moment this weekend to share with their family, friends and neighbors the importance of Memorial Day,” added Runner.

Often viewed as the unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day has deep roots in American History.

Formerly known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day became a federally observed holiday in 1967 when the tradition of decorating the graves of fallen soldiers had spread nationwide. Unlike Veterans Day which honors living veterans, Memorial Day commemorates the men and women throughout the history of our country who died in battle paying the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and well being of all Americans.

Since Decoration Day was first observed in the 1860’s, more than one million men and women have given their lives in sacrifice to our country. Flags are flown at half mast from dawn until noon to remember these brave souls. At noon the flags are raised to full mast by the living who continue to honor their memory.

Runner concluded, “Even this year brave Americans overseas continue to fight and die for our freedom. As these valiant soldiers are put to rest let us offer a prayer this Memorial Day in respect and gratitude for the rights and liberties we are blessed to have.”
