Art Club with Nelson Coates, Woman’s Club of Laguna Beach, October 26

Laguna Outreach for Community Arts invites the public to an inspiring discussion with acclaimed Hollywood film production director Nelson Coates. The Art Club event, previously scheduled for October 23, is on Sunday October 26, 4p.m.-6p.m. at The Woman’s Club.

The theme is “So You Want to be in the Movies”.  Coates numerous projects have included The Proposal, The Guilt Trip, Flight, and his current project, Don’t Mess With Texas. He will show examples of art pieces that appeared in feature films, how art is used on sets, and how artists can submit their work.

The salon-style presentation will include seating, wine and hospitality, and a sale of LOCA Art Shirts and greeting cards.  Admission is $20 at the door, or free to LOCA members.
